Corey Smith

Former Birmingham-Southern Panther, Corey Smith was named the Head Coach of the women's program in May of 2023. Smith previously worked with the men's program as the full time assistant for four seasons. He helped them reach their first Southern Athletic Association conference tournament championship and NCAA Championship berth in 2022. Smith played on the Hilltop from 2013-2017. In his senior year, after suffering his fourth ACL tear, he served in a Student Assistant Coach capacity. His ability to overcome adversity earned Smith the Laura Malone Courage Award his senior year. After graduation, he continued to remain close to the Program, serving as Volunteer Assistant Coach in the 2018 season. Corey holds the USSF National C license.


A native of Ranburne, Ala., Corey graduated Ranburne High School as valedictorian of his class. Smith graduated from BSC in 2017 with a psychology degree. In his time as a student, he became President of the Honor Council and graduated as an Honor Graduate. He graduated Cum Laude and as a member of the National Society of Leadership and Success, Psi Chi (International Psychology Honor Society), and Omicron Delta Kappa (National Leadership Honor Society). He was named to the Dean’s list multiple semesters.

Lettie Lundy

Lettie Lundy enters her first season as the assistant coach for the women's soccer program. She returns to the Hilltop after playing for the women's soccer team from 2017-2021.


Lundy played all four seasons of her collegiate career for the Panthers. In her career, she appeared in 53 games with four goals and four assists as a midfielder. In her senior season, she led the team in shot percentage and earned All-SAA Honorable Mention honors. She also was part of the SAA Academic Honor Roll.


While at BSC, Lundy started her coaching career in 2019 when she became the Oak Mountain High School JV head coach and varsity assistant. Last season, she moved to the club-level and was head coach for one team and assistant for two teams at Vestavia Hills Soccer Club.


She graduated in May 2021 from Birmingham-Southern and has spent the past two seasons as the BSC women's soccer volunteer assistant coach.
