Tom Cosgrave

Tom Cosgrave begins his fourth year as head coach of both the men and women's soccer programs. Cosgrave, a Manchester, England native, is no stranger to the game as he played at both the academy and club levels in England before accepting a scholarship to Belhaven University to play center back. During his senior season at Belhaven, Cosgrave helped lead the Blazers to their second NAIA National Championship as a team captain and by scoring an insurance goal in the 2012 national championship match against the University of Mobile. His efforts landed him SSAC All-Conference and NAIA Honorable Mention All-American nods.

Upon graduating with a degree in sports science in 2012, Cosgrave began coaching. He has helped lead the Mississippi Rush travel select club for six years. The team, based in Brandon, plays throughout the southeast and has made trips to Spain and England. He also has coaching experience with Park Place Christian Academy where he has served as the head coach of both the men and women's programs.
