Kennet Fosuhene

ennet Fosuhene is in his second season in 2022-23 as the Head Women's Soccer Coach at LaGrange College.


During the fall 2021 season, the Panthers went 5-6-1, and they finished strong, winning four of their final five games.


"I would like to thank Director of Athletics and Recreation Terlynn Olds and Dr. Susanna Baxter for this wonderful opportunity," Fosuhene said after he was hired. "It is an honor to be selected.


"Olds made her vision for LaGrange Athletics very clear during the interview. I am excited to be a part of the Panther family."


Fosuhene comes from Niagara County Community College in Sanborn, New York, where he spent two seasons as the head men's and women's soccer coach.


Previously, he served as the head men's soccer coach at Riverland Community College in Austin, Minnesota, during the 2018 season. The Blue Devils finished with an 8-6-1 record and achieved their first winning season in eight years. Fosuhene coached two All-Region players; one recorded a program-record six shutouts and the other led the Minnesota College Athletic Conference in assists.


"I am so happy to announce Fosuhene as our Head Women's Soccer Coach," said Olds. "Coach K has a history of maintaining a successful environment and coaching at a high level of soccer. He has a strong connection with top-level British academics and international agencies."


Fosuhene also worked as an assistant coach for the Des Moines (Iowa) Menace of the USL League Two. He mentored two league MVPs and was a vital component behind the team winning a regular-season championship.


Additionally, Fosuhene has made coaching stops at NJCAA institutions Andrew College in Cuthbert, Georgia, and Chesapeake College in Wye Mills, Maryland. As a former Next College Student Athlete recruiter, he emphasizes recruiting students who will thrive in all phases of a competitive academic and athletic environment.


Fosuhene played soccer and earned an associate degree from Andrew College. The London, England, native holds a bachelor's degree in sports management from Grand View University in Des Moines, Iowa.
