Matthew Mozynski

Louisburg College announced the hiring of Matthew Mozynski as head men's soccer coach on Monday, March 21, 2022.

According to athletic director Mike Holloman, "Coach Moznski has a wide array of experience in the world of soccer both playing and coaching. We think these experiences will make Matt a great coach for our men's soccer program. We are excited to have Matt join our Hurricane Family."

Most recently Mozynski was assistant coach for the Profesional Club Stumptown Athletic competing in the National Independent Soccer Association in Charlotte. Prior to that position, he was assistant director of goalkeeping for North Carolina FC from August 2019-2020 where he organized & coach over 50+ goalkeepers a week. Mozynski worked as an assistant coach at Durham Academy from August 2019-November 2019. He also was an assistant women's soccer coach at Meredith College from August 2018-January 2019.

Mozynski attended Campbell University where he started for four years and finished with a Master of Business Administration. Upon graduation, he played semi-professionally and professionally in Canada, the Dominican Republic, Charlotte, and Chattanooga.

In 2019, Mozynski created a non-profit club called Next Big Thing Soccer where he is currently the president. They have many different programs that include recreational leagues, summer camps, goalkeeper training, personal training, and ID camps. He has been helping players from across the US find college opportunities and will continue to do the same at Louisburg College.
