Record at Mount Mercy (1995-present): 229-246-44 (thru 2022)

Hadzic has helmed the Mount Mercy men's soccer program since 1995 and is the program's all-time leader in coaching victories. He reached the 100-win plateau in 2009 and was the 1999 Midwest Classic Conference Coach of the Year after the Mustangs won 14 games and advanced to the NAIA Region VII Final Four. In the fall of 2010, he picked up his second MCC Coach of the Year award after the Mustangs set a school record with 15 wins. Hadzic made it back-to-back honors when he was again named MCC Coach of the Year in 2011 after Mount Mercy claimed the regular season and MCC Tournament titles and reached the NAIA national tournament for the first time in school history. In 2015, Mount Mercy returned to the NAIA national tournament after an undefeated month of September and runner-up finish in the Association of Independent Institutions (A.I.I.) Tournament.

In addition to his duties as Mount Mercy's head coach, Hadzic was head boys' soccer coach at Cedar Rapids Xavier High School, where he was inducted into their Hall of Fame in 2023 after leading the Saints to the 2010, 2011, 2013, 2015, and 2021 Iowa Class 2A state championships. Hadzic was a seven-time Metro Coach of the Year (2000 and 2003 at C.R. Prairie; 2007, 2010, 2011, 2015 and 2016 at C.R. Xavier) and the 2010, 2011, 2015, 2019 Mississippi Valley Conference Coach of the Year. He was also awarded the 2010, 2011, 2013, 2015, and 2021 Iowa High School Athletic Association's Coach's Achievement Award. In the summer of 2010, he was also named the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Iowa High School Coach of the Year. In 2011, Hadzic earned the National Federation of State High School Associations Coach of the Year for the State of Iowa. In 2013, he was selected to coach the east all-stars at the annual Iowa High School Coaches Association All-Star Game. In the spring of 2014, Hadzic was honored with the Ed Thomas Coach of the Week award. He was inducted into the Iowa High School Soccer Coaches Association (IHSSCA) Hall of Fame in February 2015.

Hadzic has also contributed greatly to the growth of soccer in eastern Iowa through the support and development of several soccer programs. Hadzic's ability to mentor and engage his student-athletes has led many to contribute their skills within their communities. Twenty-six of Hadzic's Mount Mercy players have become head coaches throughout the country, including seven in the Cedar Rapids and Iowa City area.

This site helped me establish communications with several colleges. The ability to contact colleges that interested me and research information about them was very helpful.
