Jessica Belli

Jessica Belli begins her third season as head soccer coach in 2022. She joins Polk State with a wealth of knowledge and experience.


Belli has coached for 17 years. She comes to the Eagles from Southeastern University in Lakeland, where she served as associate head coach from 2016-2019. She helped lead the Fire to the 2017 Sun Conference championship and to three national championship tournament appearances, including back-to-back trips to the Final Four.


United Soccer Coaches named the entire Fire Coaching staff the East Region Coaching Staff of the Year.


“I’m very excited to join Polk State,” said Belli. “This is a great opportunity.


“My overall goals are to win a national championship and to have each player leave Polk State not only having grown as a player but also as a person.


“I think we have a lot of potential, and all the pieces are in place to take this program to the next level.”


Belli also coached at Johnson University in Kissimmee, Fla., and at The Master’s Academy in Oviedo, Fla. She earned the NCSAA National Diploma, USSF D License, and NSCAA Goalkeeper Diploma. She has also served in the Elite Clubs National League for several years.


Belli played soccer at Oviedo High School, where she is in the school’s Hall of Fame, and at Palm Beach Atlantic University, where she earned All-Region and All-American honors.


She also earned a bachelor’s degree in organizational management from Palm Beach Atlantic.


She lives in Lakeland with her husband, Randy, and children Declan and Everlee.

Randy Belli

Coach Randy Belli comes to the Eagles from Southeastern University in Lakeland, where he served as head coach from 2016-2019. He led the Fire to the 2017 Sun Conference championship and to three national-championship-tournament appearances, including back-to-back trips to the final four.


Along the way, the program garnered three All-American and four All-Region selections and Belli received Sun Conference Coach of the Year honors. In addition, the United Soccer Coaches named the entire Fire coaching staff the East Region Coaching Staff of the Year.


Belli began his college coaching career at Palm Beach Atlantic University, where he was associate head coach of women’s soccer from 2003 to 2006. In those four years, the Lady Sailfish went to the South Region Finals four times, winning three.


He also served as assistant coach for the men’s team at PBAU from 2004-2006, helping the squad to win two of three South Region Finals. During his tenure there, he recruited and coached seven NSCAA All-Americans and served as an adjunct professor of mathematics.


Belli went on to serve as the top assistant and recruiting coordinator for the University of South Florida women's soccer program. During his time at USF, the Bulls garnered recognition for a top-25 recruiting class for the first time in program history and followed that up with another top-25 class the next year.


He has also served in the Elite Clubs National League (ECNL) programs at Orlando City and with the West Florida Flames. He has worked with the FYSA ODP, Super Y League ODP, US Club Soccer PDP, and US Soccer market training centers. Belli also is an instructor for the United Soccer Coaches Coaching Education Staff. Along with the NSCAA Premier Diploma, USSF B License, NSCAA National Goalkeeper Diploma, NSCAA Director of Coaching Diploma, NSCAA National Youth Diploma and the USSF National Youth License.


Belli earned a master of science in mathematics education from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. A two-time All-American, he played soccer at Tennessee Temple University.

Jimmy Angeles

Jimmy Angeles comes to Polk from Southeastern University, where he served as the program's recruiting coordinator.


He brings 22 years of coaching experience to the Eagles staff. He most notably served as head girl's soccer coach at Winter Park High School from 2011-2019, where he posted a 136-28-6 career record.


Angeles also currently serves as coach at the Florida Kraze Krush Soccer Club and as recruiting coordinator for the National Premier League teams in Florida.


His other club experiences include stints with the Orlando City Youth Soccer Club (2014-17), FC America Youth Soccer Club (2010-14), CFK Youth Soccer Club (2006-10), Central Florida United, East Orange Youth Soccer Club, and TASA Youth Soccer in Piscataway, N.J.


Coach Angeles played professional soccer in Peru with Ciclista Lima FC and San Agustin FC, as well as Motagua FC Tegucigalpa in Honduras. He also played collegiately at Middlesex Community College in New Jersey.


In his youth, Angeles was a member of the Peruvian U17 and U15 National Teams.


Angeles also holds a USSF D Coaching License.


He, his wife Riahannon, and their children Cierra, Cameron, and Caden live in Winter Springs, Fla.
