Vidant Health Summer Sizzler

  We are pleased to invite your team to apply to the 7th annual Vidant Health Summer Sizzler. This 4v4 tournament is a ONE day format for 4 v 4 soccer. No offsides, no goalkeepers, one referee, and plenty of scoring. Youth participants, this is a NCYSA sanctioned tournament. All you need is four NCYSA registered players in your age group and you can form a team and play.
  
  Adult divisions! That's right, now you can cheer on your parents as they play 4 v 4 soccer. For adults, this is a sanctioned NCASA and USASA soccer tournament. All adult participants must be registered with NCASA. Current PGSA Adult League players ARE ALREADY registered with NCASA. Unregistered adult participants can purchase a one-day NCASA player pass for $12 online. The three adult divisions (must be 18 or older) include the following:
  
  Men's Open (anyone 18+ years old of either gender)
  
  Men’s Over 40 – (any male 40+ years old or any female 18+)
  
  Home of the 4 game guarantee! All teams are guaranteed at least 4 games!
  
  Please keep in mind that we are going by Spring 2019 age groups for this tournament. If you want more competition then you may play up an age group.
  
  The entry fee is only $175 for this tournament. And, there is an early bird entry fee of just $150 for all teams with completed applications and payment by May 4, 2019. The emphasis of this tournament is on soccer, rather than trophies. Hence, teams that finish in first place will receive Vidant Health Summer Sizzler t-shirts.
  
  Early Registration is OPEN. Applications are available online (or they can be mailed to the PGSA) so register today by clicking on the "Apply" button above. Once you have completed your registration, you will receive confirmation that your application has been received. When we reach our deadline for registration, we will notify accepted teams. (All teams will be accepted).

  The Vidant Health Summer Sizzler - 4v4 has partnered with Soccer In College to enhance the services offered to participants of the tournament.
  
  Teams entering the Vidant Health Summer Sizzler - 4v4 will be grouped according to past playing record to make the most competitive divisions possible.

  40 x 30 yard field
  
  No offside, one referee
  
  Two 12 min halves with a 2 min halftime
  
  4 games guaranteed
  
  All games at Pitt-Greenville Soccerplex, 5328 NC 43 South
  
  Youth and Adult (18+) Competition Brackets
  
  Boys and Girls age groups: 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18 (we will combine age groups if necessary)
  
  Players may compete UP a level but not down a level
  
  2019 Age Groups determined by Spring 2019 USYS Age groups (birth years)
  
  Proof of age is required
  
  Men's Open (18+), Men's Over 40 (any women 18+ can play in Men's over 40 division)

  Multi-team discount: ($150 per team for coaches that send two+ teams)
  
  Pitt County Future Stars teams - registration deadline is May 12 (in order to get NCYSA membership and coaches to clear Risk Management)
  
  Registration extended deadline: May 25 (for existing tournament teams, classic teams)
  
  Acceptance: Everyone will be accepted to play!
