      • 2024 Capital of Dreams High School Classic

        The 10th Annual Capital of Dreams High School Classic, is held at the Emory Folmar YMCA Soccer Complex in Montgomery , Alabama.  Come join us for some great soccer competition to kick off your 2024 season!

         

        Tournament: “Capital of Dreams HS Classic”
        Dates: Fri, 2/8/2024 - Sat, 2/10/2024
        Location: Emory Folmar YMCA Soccer Complex, Montgomery, AL
        Cost: $550-Varsity, $500-Junior Varsity, $450-Middle School
        Number of Games: 3 minimum
        Additional Information:
        Each team will play a minimum of three matches. The games will be 35 minute halves for Varsity, 30 minutes for JV and 30 Minutes for Middle School. Team trophies (CUP) will be presented to the Champions for both Boys and Girls Varsity/Junior Varsity and Middle School. Individual player medals will be presented to the 1st & 2nd place teams for Boys and Girls Varsity/Junior Varsity and Middle School. We will have three or four levels of competition in Boys/Girls Varsity. The entry fee for this tournament is $550 per team ($1025 for both Boys and Girls Varsity), payable to YMCA-High School Classic. We will have two choices for the event.  Playing one match on Thursday, Friday and Saturday or playing one match on Friday and two on Saturday.
      • Emory Folmar YMCA Soccer Complex

        This state of the art facility opened in July 2012 and was home to the 2012 and 2013 NAIA Men's National Championship. The facility is currently having upgrades that include installation of four Synthetic turf fields  The project will be completed in January 2024.  The new facility has the following:

        - 5 Full Size Bermuda Grass Fields (Lighted)

        - 2 Full Size Synthetic Turf Fields (Lighted)

        - 1 9v9/7v7 Synthetic Turf Field (Lighted)

        - 1 Bermuda Grass Stadium Field (Lights/Seating for 2000)

        - 1 Synthetic Turf Stadium Field (Lights/Seating for 2000)

         We are proud to say that we are investing in quality referees for this tournament. We know that skilled officiating is vital to a positive tournament experience, so we are inviting the top officials from around the region to work our event.  We strive to ensure we meet all expectations in creating the best possible experience for all our athletes and spectators.
