| OLOL XXXIII Children's Hospital United Cup | |  | | | Hendrix College offers a top Liberal Arts education in a beautiful , small college setting.. We play NCAA Division 3, which means no athletic scholarships. However, most of my players have very generous academic scholarships. We have improved steadily over the last 5 years and we are ready to take off! Our goal is to make it to the NCAA Tournament in the next 2 years, and to win the National Championship by 2020. Hey, why not us? Somebody's going to do it, right? My philosophy is that soccer is fun, and that it is the ultimate team sport. Quality passing and receiving of the ball by all players is a must! My favorite clubs are Amsterdam Ajax, Barcelona and Arsenal. We will always emulate these teams. If this is what you are looking for, come on down to Hendrix, which by the way has the most beautiful campus I have ever set foot on. Our field, Bermuda grass and lighted, looks more like a putting green than a soccer field! We just started football after a 53 year hiatus, and the buzz is palpable... |
