Futsal has been a sport and version of soccer on the rise for the last decade in this country and city.  10 years ago 95% of the soccer playing community in this city and region had no clue what the word FUTSAL even meant.   Now there are multiple futsal clubs and leagues in the city and likely around half of those people are well aware of what futsal is and know the massive development and joy players get from playing it.  Along with the sport growing massively in popularity, the City of Memphis has solved it's own problem of not having an indoor sports facility able to host large regional futsal/basketball/volleyball/wrestling events.  The creation of the Liberty Park and The Memphis Sports and Events Center (The MSEC) allows he city and futsal/soccer community to have what it's now fully ready for...

In addition to the facility our Tournament Director and event creators have spent over a decade of running the city's first futsal league (Center Circle's Winter Futsal) and 6 years of running what was the city's largest soccer tournament series.  While this event is new, the direction is not.
