FALL 2016 REGISTRATION & OTHER INFO
 
Happy summer!  Hope everyone is enjoying the weather.
 
As a reminder, 'regular registration' ends on Sunday the 26th, and anyone registering after that will get hit with the late fee starting on the 27th.  So, if you are planning on coming back but have not yet registered or know someone who is interested in joining the club but has not yet registered, please do so soon.
 
Also, I've heard from most, but not all, about their plans for the fall.  If you're planning on staying in the Pack in the Fall or looking for a different opportunity, either way again please let me know so I can help make sure that happens.  The coaches meeting for diving players is next week, and I want to make sure everyone is good with where they go and raid other teams for reinforcements if needed.
 
For Wolves returning to the Pack (and some applies to others returning to the club as well), here's some preliminary info:
  1. Unforms remain the same.  So unless they are small or snug, there is no reason to get new ones.  More than likely, this will be the last year of these jerseys (Addidas extended production of these jerseys for a year otherwise we would be on new jerseys now).
  2. Practices will go back to Forest Park in the Fall and remain 1.5 hours for 1 day a week.  For a few weeks, we may do two practices until club training starts.  We will go back much more to the drill, chat / diagram, scrimmage format from the Fall 2015 Season since we will be there all season for practices.
  3. All 'regular' rules  will be applied in u10 (no re-dos on foul throws, direct free kicks, penalty kicks, etc...) other than no offsides, size 4 balls, and we stay 6 v 6 on the same size fields we've been using.
  4. Dates and such:
    1. Practices will start in late July / early August - dates and time TBD.
    2. Team Pictures - August 17th (Wednesday) and we will likely be an earlier team to go.
    3. Games will start likely the weekend of the 20th or 27th in August.
    4. Valpo 3 on 3 Soccer Tournament is Saturday, October 3rd.
    5. End of Season could be as late as first 2 weeks in November.
    6. Once season is over, indoor begins.
  5. I'd expect that everyone would participate in the Valpo 3 on 3 as well as at least one session of indoor (10 games).  Of course, I'd encourage all to play both sessions of indoor.  At least the 1st session will be at Hallmark Sports Club II near Southlake Mall.
  6. I am planning on getting all returning and new wolves (if any) together on August 6th or 13th in the am to play a round of Foot Golf at Creekside - my treat.  Please let me know what dates (either, both, neither) work asap.

TOURNAMENT UNIFORMS AND ARRIVAL TIME

The team will wear Black Uniforms, but have the greens handy just in case.

Please plan on getting to the field by 9:30a. If you can help with materials or getting the fields ready, please come at 9a. It looks like we'll have to line the fields tomorrow morning unless parks maintenance gets there early (which they normally do).
